Mail Your Gift
Another way for you to support New England College is with an unrestricted cash gift—typically a gift by check.  Please make checks payable to "New England College." We are sorry that we are not able to cash checks drawn on foreign banks. If you wish to designate to a specific fund, you may indicate it on the memo line, or enclose a note with your gift. Securities
Gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds and mutual funds allow you to make a contribution and deduct the full-market value of the security at the time of the gift. You can also avoid the capital gains tax on qualified assets given to New England College. For security purposes, please call 603-428-2300 or email Greg Palmer, Director of Corporate & Foundation Partnerships at gpalmer@nec.edu to let us know of your gift intent

Brokerage & Custodial Accounts
The effective date of the gift is the date the securities are received by the College’s broker. Our policy, unless instructed otherwise, is to sell gifted securities immediately upon receipt. Your gift credit amount will be the mean of the high and low price of the gifted securities on the date of receipt.

Stock Certificates
Send the physical stock certificates via certified mail or overnight delivery service, signature and return receipt required, to the New England College Office of Development, 98 Bridge Street, Henniker, NH 03242. Under separate cover, please include a completed stock or bond power, endorsed to New England College. Please feel free to call us with any questions about this process.

The effective date of the gift is the date both the stock certificates and the stock or bond power are received by the College. We will sell the securities through our broker upon receipt and your gift credit will be the amount of the mean of the high and low price of the gifted securities on the date of receipt.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many employers offer matching gift programs. If you or your spouse works for one of the many companies that offer matching gifts, your philanthropy can have greater impact. You will be recognized for the full amount of your gift, plus any resulting match. If you have a question about if your company matches gifts, you should inquire with your human resource office.
